The Award

One of British food and drink's most respected accolades

The Fortnum & Mason Food and Drink Awards have celebrated excellence in food and drink writing, publishing, broadcasting and photography since 2013, spanning categories from cookery books to restaurant criticism. Each winner receives a unique trophy designed by eco-parametric architects Mamou Mani, alongside an iconic Fortnum & Mason hamper.

Two categories, Content Creator of the Year and Rising Star Content Creator of the Year, are decided by public vote rather than a judging panel, putting the result directly in the hands of the audience who follow the work.

The Campaign

Turning three years of recommendations into a public vote

Rising Star Content Creator of the Year

Nominated for Rising Star Content Creator of the Year at the Fortnum & Mason Food and Drink Awards 2026, Luke asked Flunder Wine World subscribers directly: if his recommendations had ever been useful, a vote would mean a great deal.

The ask ran as a dedicated Substack post in March 2026, with a direct link through to the official voting page, alongside supporting posts across Flunder Wine World's social channels.

On the night of 30 April 2026, Luke won the category outright, with Natasha there for the win.
