Individual. Thoughtful. A little more special.
The wine is chosen for the book first. The format should feel like a premium personal treat, with a 375ml half bottle as the preferred starting point where suitable stock is available.
One evening. Forty discoveries.
- The shortlist. Four approved books, four fixed wine pairings, ten bundles of each. Nine virtual parcels are shown in this demo; the live game would reflect actual event stock.
- The preparation. All books, wines and postcards packed and numbered before the event. One delivery to the venue, with no individual customer shipping.
- The game. An available parcel is allocated once and removed from stock. The live checkout connection and staff collection confirmation would be built for the pilot.
- The reader. Agree a simple exchange policy for a book already owned, subject to remaining stock.
A partnership worth repeating.
- Inklings & Luke. Agreed curation and content fees, with any appearances and per-bundle payments costed separately.
- The bookshop. Book sales plus an agreed fee or share for hosting and running collection.
- The price. Set after supplier quotes and event costs. Keep value comparable across the mystery pairings; premium formats replace the original £18 canned-wine assumption.
- Before launch. Confirm partner approval, wine supply, alcohol-sale arrangements and age checks with the host.
