A single estate, at the highest point of the South Downs

Established in 2007 and set 190 metres above sea level within the South Downs National Park, The Weyborne Estate produces single-estate, traditional method sparkling wine from 25 acres of chalk, clay and greensand soil, the same terroir that defines Champagne.

The estate has built a reputation for quality fast, picking up recognition from the IWSC, IWC, Decanter and the Sommelier Wine Awards. Its flagship release, Oriana, has become a fixture on English sparkling wine lists.

To celebrate Oriana Golden Spur's new listing at Ocado, The Weyborne Estate partnered with Flunder Wines to give readers of The List a chance to win bottles of the wine outright.

The feature ran as the lead story in the July 2026 edition, sent directly to 28,000+ subscribers, with a click-through entry mechanic and a companion post across Flunder Wine World social channels.

Alongside the giveaway, readers were given an exclusive 10% discount code, LUKE10, for direct orders at weyborne.com, valid through 4 August 2026, turning newsletter attention into a direct sales channel for the estate.
