Virgin Atlantic
Reviewing the airline's wine programme cabin by cabin, from the Heathrow Clubhouse to 35,000ft on the way to Miami.
A wine programme built for every cabin
Virgin Atlantic invited Luke on a return flight to Miami to review its wine programme cabin by cabin, starting in the Heathrow Clubhouse lounge and continuing through Upper Class and Economy.
The airline's approach spans a considered wine list served in the Clubhouse and the Upper Class bar inflight, through to NICE, a range of canned wines poured in Economy and Premium Economy.
From the Clubhouse bar to a can in Economy
NICE Canned Wine, In Economy
In Economy and Premium Economy, Virgin Atlantic pours NICE, the UK's fastest-growing independent canned wine brand, co-founded by Lucy Wright and Jeremy May with backing from Virgin StartUp.
Luke's review covered the full range onboard: NICE Sauvignon Blanc, Pale Rosé and Argentinian Malbec, alongside the more considered pours in the Clubhouse lounge and the Upper Class bar inflight.
The trip and tasting ran as an Instagram Reel, filmed at the Heathrow Clubhouse and shared across Luke's channels, tagged #ad in line with the partnership.
“Check out their winter wine range, let me tell you they represent the Virgin brand superbly.”Luke Flunder, 21 October 2022
